Featuring a fine selection of ceramics dating from the Neolithic to late-Qing period, the Art Museum hopes to facilitate engagement through objects that tell the story of China’s cultural development.
The history of Chinese Ceramics is a long one. As an indispensable part of the nation’s heritage, Chinese ceramics show developments in the country’s science, technology and culture through the ages.
Featuring a fine selection of ceramics dating from the Neolithic to late-Qing period, the Art Museum’s collection has grown to over 12,000 items. Over 200 pieces will be on display in the exhibit – with the aim of educating the public on China’s rich history of ceramics.
