This uber chic restaurant-bar is perfect to hang out and indulge in simple yet savoury dishes, exotic… but not cliché. It serves delicious authentic Issan food from North-East Thailand, with a focus on wholesome grilled meats&fish rather than on curries and pad Thai. By sitting in front of the open kitchen, the Bangkok well chef trained David Thompson will introduce you to an incredible amount of flavours and textures. The combination between the punchy salads and the pia phao glua, a whole seabass stuffed with lemongrass, pandanas and lime leaf works pretty well. But don’t miss the table favourite: Kanom Dtom presents an unusual choice of gooey sweet coconut rice dumplings served in a bowl of unexpectedly salty coconut cream. We love it !
