On 20 September, de Sarthe opens its expanded gallery in the lively Southside art district, spanning over 10,000 square feet of thoughtfully designed exhibition spaces. The new venue will launch a solo exhibition by contemporary artist Lazarus Chan alongside a major 20th-century group exhibition.
20th Century Narratives – In Conversation explores an influential transcontinental dialogue through post-war and modern paintings and sculptures. Featuring icons like Marc Chagall, Yayoi Kusama, Joan Miró and Zao Wou-ki, the exhibition highlights the interconnected artistic voices shaping modern art history from a revitalised perspective.
