A Guided Tour of Historic Sheung Wan led by Hong Kong’s Medical Museum
Why We Recommend it
This guided cultural walk through Sheung Wan zooms in into people’s livelihood before and after the Plague, and navigates through Chinese and Western architecture.
Opened in 1996, the Hong Kong Museum of Medical Sciences’ mission is to teach the public more about the city’s rich medical heritage, including Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as Western Scientific Medicine.
The newly designed cultural walk will reveal a little-known side of Sheung Wan, and give in-depth insight about the local community.
The tour is conducted in Cantonese.
