Law and Order Hong Kong: A Peek into Historic Buildings
Why We Recommend it
Fifteen historic buildings associated with law and order will open their doors to the public, offering unique glimpses into the history of Hong Kong law enforcement.
The Heritage Fiesta offers the chance to explore Hong Kong buildings connected to the city’s legal history, while learning about their histories and architectural styles.
Participating historic buildings include the Former Yamen Building (built in 1847), the only remaining building of the Kowloon Walled City, and the Old Stanley Police Station (built in 1859), which is the oldest surviving police station in Hong Kong.
Admission to all buildings will be free of charge. Free guided tours will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors will also be able to collect special stamps at the participating historic buildings.
