Become an Art Collector: Affordable Art Fair

The Affordable Art Fair returns for its 12th edition in Hong Kong from 22 to 25 May. With 16 fairs across 13 cities on several continents, each fair offers a blend of renowned artists and emerging talent.

Under the theme “I Am an Art Collector,” this year’s fair emphasises the meaningful connection between art collection and culture. Presenting thousands of contemporary artworks priced under HK$100,000 from over 90 exhibitors, this year’s edition features local galleries alongside esteemed APAC and international ones.

The fair’s signature Young Talent Hong Kong section will highlight rising local artists, while the Special Projects section will showcase bold installations, experimental works, and live art performances that challenge creative boundaries.

Featured exhibitors include The Hong Kong Arts Collective (HKARTS), Step Creation Gallery, isart Gallery, Ronen Art Gallery, and award-winning Hong Kong artist Pen So.

Visitors may apply for the Sip & Sketch Workshop on 22-23 May, a three-part mixed media workshop where participants can create their own art with long-lasting exhibitor Eleanor McColl, with accompanying wine. Additionally, the Art Loop Children’s Art Tours, offered on  23-25 May, provides young visitors the opportunity to learn gallery etiquette and nurture their creative spirit.
