Art Across Boundaries 2026: 33 Artists Unite for a Cause

Why We Recommend it

Art Across Boundaries 2026 returns with a charity exhibition featuring 33 global artists raising funds for education in the Philippines.

Description

Art Across Boundaries 2026 will feature a charity exhibition uniting 33 international and local artists around a shared mission: using art to create meaningful social impact. Presented by Children of the Mekong Hong Kong in collaboration with French May 2026, and curated by Anne Deligny Villet, Sandra Ormiston and Christel Villepelet, the exhibition explores how creativity can transcend borders while raising funds for education programmes across Southeast Asia, particularly in the Philippines. Through painting, sculpture and mixed media, participating artists reflect on themes of connection, resilience and collective hope, with each work acting as a bridge between communities and lived experiences.

A key highlight is photographer Réhahn, whose recent impressionistic works, such as Being, move beyond documentation into sensory explorations of light, memory and perception. Drawing on his long-term engagement with cultural heritage in Vietnam, his practice reflects a deep sensitivity to identity and transformation. He is joined by artists including photographer Anthony Chan as well as muralist and visual artist Elsa Jeandedieu, whose practices further enrich the exhibition’s cross-cultural dialogue.
