Description
The Embrace and the Passage brings together newly commissioned artworks exploring the relationship between host and guest, by Michele Chu, Florence Lam, Monique Yim and Bunny Cadag, with Jessie Kwok serving as curator.
Inside an immersive installation created by Chu — the proverbial host — Lam, Yim and Cadag will present live works that reimagine the role of the guest. Performance-based works based on choreographic instruction, body movement, improvisation and audience participation will create a constantly evolving environment that deconstructs the barrier between guest and host.
