ART.BERDEEN: A Creative Celebration on Aberdeen Street

Why We Recommend it

This art week, ART.BERDEEN brings international galleries and artists to seven venues at Aberdeen Street in Central to transform the area into a dynamic art platform.

Description

Celebrating the unique character of Aberdeen Street in Central, ART.BERDEEN brings together eight international galleries alongside talented artists, musicians and designers, transforming the street into a dynamic art platform for this year’s Art Week.

The participating galleries include: Capsule from Shanghai, Gallery daSein from Shenzhen, IAH from Seoul, LATITUDE from New York, Sultana from Paris, THE THIRD from Seoul, White Space from Beijing and Galerie Zink from Waldkirchen. Highlights include new works by French artist Sophie Varin, whose intimate miniature oil paintings on silk blur the boundaries between dream and reality; Hong Kong artist Angel Hui, who will represent Hong Kong at the 61st Venice Biennale 2026; and Beijing-based artist Gao Ludi.

Artworks will be presented across seven different bars and restaurants along Aberdeen Street, creating a curated art trail for visitors to explore a diverse range of artistic talents and experience a rich tapestry of creativity.

The event goes beyond conventional art to feature creatives from music, fashion and design to encourage collaboration and enrich the cultural life of the community. Adding to the lively atmosphere, music performances will take centre stage on the evening of 26 March, with a specially curated programme entertaining guests late into the night.
