[CANCELLED] Art Central 2020: More Hong Kong Galleries Than Ever

Why We Recommend it

The sixth edition of Art Central showcases a global selection of contemporary art through five days of gallery exhibitions, performances, installations and talks.

Description

The big tent is back as Art Central returns to the Central harbourfront for its sixth edition. Reflecting the burgeoning gallery scene in Hong Kong, this year’s fair will feature a record number of Hong Kong-based exhibitors. Amongst them, first-time exhibitor Touch Ceramics will feature work by Japanese master Ogata Kamio, alongside the work of Hong Kong artists Annie Wan and Sarah Tse.

Apart from appreciating artworks, visitors can also get hands-on in the art experience. A line-up of activities include Art in Ink Workshops, Asia Society’s Live at Art Central programme with talks and panel discussions, and the 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art’s performance programme, which sets out to explore contemporary art practices in the greater Asia region.
