Art Of The Land: Ethiopia Captured by Award-Winning Hong Kong Photographer Tugo Cheng

Why We Recommend it
This exhibition showcases the dramatic terrain and otherworldly landscape of Ethiopia as seen through the lens of National Geographic Award-Winning photographer Tugo Cheng.
Description
Presented by award-winning travel company Jacada Travel, Art of the Land is a free exhibition that spotlights Ethiopia’s nature, culture and architecture through aerial photography, telling stories about the country and how people deal with the land.
“From vast salt flats to bizarre hot springs and Lava Lake, Ethiopia has the most otherworldly natural landscapes on Earth which are close to both heaven and hell. As an African country never colonised before, Ethiopia also inherits unique culture and antiquities such as the famous underground rock-hewn churches which are considered the eighth wonder in the world,” said Tugo Cheng about this exhibition.
Cheng, who is a Hong Kong-based fine art photographer and professional architect, has received critical acclaim worldwide and has been labeled ‘International Discovery of the Year 2016’. Influenced by his architectural background, he pays special attention to the order and rhythm in landscape and the visual impact of photography. His work has been featured by CNN, National Geographic Magazine, Wall Street International and South China Morning Post.
The exhibition is open on Mondays from 10am–7pm, Tuesdays to Saturdays from 11am–8pm and is closed on Sundays and public holidays. Visitors are kindly asked to RSVP by sending an email to TheHaven@JacadaTravel.com prior to visiting the exhibition.
