Back to Nature: The Beauty of Rural Mongolia in Photos with Marc Progin

Why We Recommend it

Swiss photographer and longtime Hong Kong resident Marc Progin transports viewers to the vast open spaces of rural Mongolia.

Description

Supported by Le French May, Blue Lotus Gallery presents Back to Nature, a photography exhibition by Marc Progin that transports viewers to the vast open spaces of rural Mongolia.

Progin, a longtime Hong Kong resident, Swiss photographer and adventurer, explores the three worlds that are the sky, the earth and nature in his fine art prints which were shot between 2007-2019. Traversing Mongolia’s deserts, mountains and steppes, he captures what he comes across: nomads, the wildlife, migrating birds, hunters and horseback and many more fascinating subjects.

Half the works are completely unseen and even two photographs have been selected as a special preview for his new body of work titled Cretaceous set to be premiered in 2021.

Alongside the exhibition, Progin will be present to give artist talks on Saturdays throughout June. For more details, please visit the official website linked below.
