Description
Hong Kong painter Cheng Ting Ting often works with suspended moments, capturing the fleeting instants as fluid landscapes. Beautiful Corals at Gallery Exit places these snapshots in a dialogue, exhibiting Cheng’s works from as early as 2018. Threaded together, the paintings trace the development of Cheng’s visual language and display the imageries and meanings that endured.
Cheng studied visual arts at the Hong Kong Baptist University before completing her MA in Contemporary Art at the University of Bergen. Her works have been shown locally and abroad since 2013, both in solo and group exhibitions.
Gallery Exit is currently also showing Ticko Liu’s Ephemera, a painting exhibition and an invitation to reflect on impermanence and emotional depth.
