Booked: Hong Kong Art Book Fair by Tai Kwun Contemporary returns this month with over 80 local, regional, and international exhibitors taking part.
Booked presents an impressive array of art books, including artists’ books, photography books, art albums, zines, art catalogues, art history and theoretical texts, artists’ editions and gallery editions, texts by artists, book arts and book sculptures, as well as artsy merchandise such as tote bags, pins, and badges.
The art book fair will also host talks, live events, displays, workshops and more. This year, Booked will also be accompanied by a special project, Overbooked, which extends beyond the art book fair until 28 January 2020, featuring the work of nine international artists, including the UK’s Fiona Banner aka the Vanity Press; Germany’s Karl Holmqvist; the late Japanese artist Toshio Matsumoto, Britain’s Aleksandra Mir; and Mai-Thu Perret, from Switzerland.
