Cellomania 2025: Raphaela Gromes Ignites the Stage with Dvořák

Described by Rondo Magazine as “probably the most successful German cellist of the present day,” Raphaela Gromes graces Hong Kong Sinfonietta with her performances of Strauss, Scelsi, Mozart and Dvořák this September.

Gromes’ performances and recordings have won her many awards, including the OPUS Klassik, the Diapason d’Or and the German Record Critics’ Prize. Aside from classical performances, she has also been steadily committed to music by female composers that has been unjustly forgotten and presented 23 female composers from the Middle Ages to the present day on her globally celebrated album “Femmes.”
