Clockenflap 2017: Massive Attack, Feist, Stormzy, The Prodigy and More
Why We Recommend it
This year, music and arts festival Clockenflap celebrates its 10th edition with an international lineup that includes Massive Attack, The Prodigy and Feist, alongside local favourites Chochukmo and New Youth Barbershop.
Clockenflap is arguably Hong Kong’s coolest music festival, with organisers building up the brand from scratch with minimal support over the last ten years. Before that, Hong Kong did not really have much of a music festival scene.
This year, the team bring to Hong Kong a number of household names, including Massive Attack and the Prodigy. For the British Indie music inclined, Kaiser Chiefs are also on the bill. Dreamy pop act Feist will perform, alongside Danish up-and-comer Mo.
For the UK grime and electronica enthusiasts, Stormzy and Skream are featured on the bill. And while the festival does pride itself in bringing important international acts to Hong Kong. they are also committed to providing a platform for local emerging and established talent. Local offerings include Chochukmo and New Youth Barbershop.
