Clockenflap 2019 Returns with Halsey, Mumford & Sons And More [CANCELLED]
Why We Recommend it
Clockenflap 2019 returns to Hong Kong Central Harbourfront with a strong lineup featuring American electropop goddess Halsey, British indie-folk giants Mumford & Sons and more.
Clockenflap, Hong Kong’s biggest music and arts festival, returns with an attractive lineup featuring Halsey, Mumford & Sons, UK-based psychedelic pop purveyors Glass Animals, controversial Miami rap prodigy Lil Pump and more. Held from Friday to Sunday, the festival will offer 100 top international, regional, and local acts across six stages at the Central Harbourfront.
Installations include Balloon Chain, a gigantic, interactive, and constantly-changing sculpture made of helium balloons that has been a fan-favourite at the Coachella and Burning Man festivals, the giant inflatable Garden that offers the perfect backdrop for silly selfies, and Totem, a new, towering 7.5-metre-high inflatable installation featuring some of Clockenflap 2019’s animated characters that welcomes people at the entrance.
A family-friendly event, Clockenflap’s delights kids of all ages with Australian rockers Regugitator and their specially crafted performance for kids called Pogogo Show, mesmerising close-up magician Ferdinand, and a selection of hands-on activities by Hong Kong Children’s Discovery Museum, including the opportunity to create their own fantastical creatures and 3D robots.
Clockenflap 2019 will be cancelled due to the escalation in the crisis this week, and the uncertainty this creates for the coming weeks. Refunds are promised for ticket holders within four weeks.
