Description
Hosted by the Hong Kong Arts Centre and Comix Home Base, the 5th edition of Comics w/o Boundaries will welcome renowned French cartoonist Étienne Davodeau to Hong Kong.
Davodeau (b. 1965) is celebrated for his down-to-earth drawing style and realistic stories based on real people and places. He is best known for his award-winning graphic novel Lulu: femme nue (Lulu Anew), which tells the story of a middle-aged woman rediscovering herself. The story was adapted into a movie in 2013.
The event will be conducted in French and English with Cantonese interpretation. Admission is free, but registration is required and will be handled on a first-come first-served basis.
