Comix Arts Fest 2025 Celebrates Local Hand Drawn Illustrations

Description

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Comix Home Base, Hong Kong Arts Centre hosts the Comix Arts Fest 2025 from 22 July to 31 August, showcasing over 150 pieces of hand drawn comics and illustrations from over 50 artists total. Invited professional artists include kidlit illustrator and comic artist Bonnie Pang, long standing comic artist Li Chi Tak with his distinctive illustrative style and more

The Arts Fests aims to highlight the evolving and multifaceted culture of Hong Kong’s hand-drawn art community, responding to Comix Home Base’s mission to nurture and promote local comics and art in a time largely dominated by generative artificial intelligence and digital arts.

Aside from the exhibition, limited edition figurines from artists’ comics will also be sold in random blind boxes, as well as scattered across the exhibition for guests to interact with.
