The Darkest Hour at 3am: Art Behind the Insomnia

Why We Recommend it
Curated by Alberta Leung, The Darkest Hour at 3am is a group exhibition that reveals how modern life’s pressures fracture sleep, inviting a reflective pause in the battle against insomnia.
Description
The Darkest Hour at 3am plunges into the silent epidemic of insomnia shaped by our techno-capitalist world. Through immersive works by artists such as Tobias Bradford, Elisa Giardina Papa, Yoojin Lee and Karen Yu, the show reflects on how industrialisation and techno-capitalism disrupt the rhythm of sleep.
Curated by Alberta Leung, it offers no quick fixes, but a compelling space to contemplate rest’s fragile nature and external forces shaping our sleep. As sleeplessness becomes a defining modern crisis, The Darkest Hour at 3am asks whether reclaiming peace in the night is possible within the pressures of contemporary life.
