Hong Kong artist-illustrator Don Mak‘s latest collection, Once Upon A Hong Kong, features a series of illustrations that not only pays tribute to the beauty of his hometown, but also represents his attempt to immortalise the city through art during these times of uncertainty. These illustrations are complemented by texts in both traditional Chinese and English.
The book’s release will be accompanied by a special exhibition that displays artworks from the book. Apart from exclusive signed copies of the book, commemorative posters, postcards, candles, and pins will also be available for visitors to purchase.
The exhibition is currently being held at Parallel Space until July 5.
