Down The Rabbit Hole: The Hong Kong Ballet Stages ALICE

Why We Recommend it
Energetic and imaginative, this production by the Hong Kong Ballet is a fun, over-the-top re-imagination of Lewis Carroll’s classic tale, fusing dance, theater, and puppetry.
Description
Choreographed by Septime Webre, the artistic director of the Hong Kong Baller, ALICE (in wonderland) merges traditional ballet with contemporary energy. The show captures the topsy-turvy magic of Wonderland and the bizarre characters that confront Alice on her journey through dance, as well as puppetry and theatre, with an unexpected dash of humour.
This production is the Asian premiere of ALICE (in wonderland) and marks the start of The Hong Kong Ballet’s 2018/19 season. Brooklyn Mack, Principal Dancer of The Washington Ballet will make a special guest appearance in selected performances.
