Enlivening Hong Kong History: Textiles, Arts and Heritage Festival

Why We Recommend it

Aiming to reactivate the legacy of Hong Kong’s textile industry, organisers at the Mill6 Foundation will put on a series of talks and workshops.

Striving to bridge communities and generations through participatory experiences, this one-day festival aims to enliven Hong Kong’s historic textile history.

The event will feature a series of oral history sharings, talks, workshops and tours in collaboration with Po Leung Kuk, Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel (HKRITA).

Cultural tours of Tsuen Wan are included, though English speakers without Cantonese knowledge will need to book in advance.
