Whitestone Gallery’s 50/50 celebrates the 50th career anniversary of prominent artist Fabien Verschaere. A landmark moment, the show not only spans his artistic journey from childhood creations to key international works but also marks an exciting new beginning for the gallery’s space in Wong Chuk Hang.

Known for intricate paintings, murals, drawings and watercolours like “The trip of Gumiho,” Verschaere creates a dreamlike world of hybrid creatures and symbolic narratives. A graduate of the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2000, he gained international recognition for his pop and surrealist style, exhibited at venues like the Grand Palais and Galerie Traversée. The show highlights his blend of humour, depth and theatrical compositions, inviting viewers into a richly imaginative visual language.
