Description

The Mai Po Marshes, a large wetland nature reserve managed by the World Wildlife Fund, is a haven for thousands of migratory birds who pass through on their way north. The Royal Geographic Society of Hong Kong is now offering a guided tour of this fascinating scene.

An experienced guide will conduct the tour through the mangroves and marshes along Deep Bay, giving participants a chance to look closely at thousands of migratory birds. The group will also journey along the longest boardwalk in Mai Po and go birdwatching on floating bird hides.

Please note that attendees need to be at least 12 years old. The assembly point is Central at 12:30pm; attendees will return to Central by 6:30pm. To reserve places, please e-mail events@rgshk.org.hk.
