Fine Art Asia 2025: Art Through the Ages

Why We Recommend it

Marking its milestone 20th edition, Fine Art Asia 2025 returns this October, showcasing 5,000 years of art plus new contemporary craft sections and dynamic cultural programmes.

Description

Following its landmark 20th edition, Fine Art Asia returns this October, presenting an extraordinary collection of artworks spanning more than 5,000 years of cultural history. Held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, the fair features museum-quality pieces, carefully curated across antiques, contemporary art, fine craftsmanship and designer jewellery from Asia and Europe. Celebrated as the region’s foremost fine art fair, it continues to attract collectors and connoisseurs with its depth and diversity.

This year, Fine Art Asia embraces innovation with two new exhibiting sections. CRAFT Now spotlights contemporary Asian artisans recognised for their mastery of traditional techniques, curated to engage a new generation of collectors keen on the artistic and cultural value of crafts. Meanwhile, the Back on Paper pavilion offers a serene space showcasing around 50 works on paper — from classic ukiyo-e prints to modernist lithographs — enriching the visitor experience. Both pavilions are complemented by lively programmes, including artist meet-and-greets, a contemporary Japanese tea ceremony and insightful panel discussions – deepening appreciation of these evolving art forms.

Special exhibitions highlight the fair’s 20th anniversary. For example, Boogie Woogie Photography‘s 20/20 VISION: Two Decades, Twenty Perspectives presents iconic works by 20 renowned artists such as Roger Ballen and Fan Ho, while The Ink Society’s A Tribute to Wang Dongling celebrates the pioneering calligrapher’s transformative career and his innovative “entangled script,” bridging tradition and contemporary expression.
