Description

Freespace Happening was launched in 2012 by the West Kowloon Cultural District with the mission of creating a unique space for creativity and performance that’s free for all.

Taking place from 2pm to 7pm, this month’s edition will see live performances by jazz masters Eugene Pao, Ted Lo and friends, Hong Kong-born, UK-based artist Emmy the Great, and Korean singer-songwriter Gonne Choi.

A cross-disciplinary affair, the festival also features a book-crossing event, a fortune-telling booth, and workshops on making eco-friendly friendly gift items and Ganggangsullae, an ancient, traditional Korean folk dance incorporating dancing and singing.
