Resonance Aura: FutureScope Opens Second Experiential Chapter

Why We Recommend it
FutureScope opens its second chapter, Resonance Aura – Astrolabe, a contemplative ArtTech journey through sound, light and motion.
Description
Following its first immersive experience opening in December 2025, Hong Kong’s first large-scale art dome, FutureScope, returns with its second chapter, Resonance Aura – Astrolabe, from 30 January to 15 February. Conceptualised by media artist Chris Cheung (h0nh1m) and his collective XCEED, the installation invites visitors into a shifting universe of sound, light and movement within the dome.
Drawing inspiration from the visionary writings of Hong Kong literary icon Xi Xi, the work transforms her poetic reflection on the cosmos and city into a meditative space for contemplation. At the heart of the experience is Resonance Aura VI – Torquetum, a kinetic sculpture symbolising the seven chakras of the human body, breathing in tune with the audience’s presence. The free exhibition culminates with ticketed live performances by renowned vocalist Sainkho Namtchylak, whose Tuvan throat singing activates the dome’s acoustic and visual landscape in a transcendent sensory dialogue.
From 13 to 15 February, three performances featuring Namtchylak will be held each day at 17:00, 20:00 and 21:00.
