Alisan Fine Arts continues their Summer Talk Series, where different professionals within the art industry come together to discuss an array of topics related to the gallery’s on-going exhibition, Uniquely Hong Kong – A Celebration of Hong Kong Art.

On August 25, the gallery will be hosting the second talk of the series, four speakers from various fields within the art industry will explore the distinctiveness of Hong Kong art and address concerns about its definition. The four speakers include renowned Hong Kong architect, art collector, and artist William Lim; editor of Art Asia Pacific Magazine, Elaine Ng; Head of Sales and Senior Specialist on Chinese Paintings from Christie’s, Carmen Shek Cerne; and art critic and Head of Development at Asia Art Archives, Alexander Seno, who will also be the moderator of this talk.

The speakers will open up about their individual experiences in Hong Kong’s art industry and how they have influenced their perception of local art.

The talk will also be conducted online through Zoom and live-streamed on Alisan Fine Art’s Facebook page.
