Description
Featuring masterclasses from local and international pioneering percussionists, this festival invites fledgling drummers to try different styles and genres. Concerts will also take place that offer audiences the chances to see talented musicians in action.
Instructors and performers involved include Hong Kong experimental jazz man Nate Wong, who will put on a workshop at Artistree. Brookyln-based innovative drum group BYOS will also offer their skills and advice in separate workshop. A series of concerts will be put on, including a solo performance by drumming star Benny Greb at Kwai Tsing Theatre Auditorium.
