Going Down the Rabbit Hole with Hong Kong Artists: Tales of Wonderland

Why We Recommend it
Borrowing motifs from Victorian novel Alice in Wonderland, this group exhibit reframes the story of Postcolonial Hong Kong in a fantastical light.
Description
Divided into eight chapters, this exhibit features the works of established and emerging local artists exploring elements from the Lewis Carroll’s famous fairy tale and how they relate to the story of Hong Kong since the Handover.
Showcasing the works of Chow Chun Fai, Amy Cheung, Pak Sheung Chuen, South Ho, among others, this show interrogates themes of identity collapse and transformation through allegories and symbols that parallel those featured in the story of Alice.
