Watch ‘Napping Kid’, ‘Still Human’ and other Cherry-picked Films at The Hong Kong Arts Centre

Why We Recommend it
Five contemporary quality movies—including a preview of Still Human, mystery drama Napping Kid, and the much-lauded film An Elephant Sitting Still—will be screened at Hong Kong Arts Centre’s cinema.
Description
Co-presented by The Hong Kong Arts Centre and local film distributor Golden Scene, the ‘Golden Scene selection’ is an ongoing monthly initiative that presents quality films across genres, decades and geographies.
This February, the programme will screen movies from Hong Kong, China, France and the United States, including Napping Kid, local director Amos Why‘s millennial mystery about a sensitive digital file that goes missing, a ransom demand, a social justice app developer and a whole lot of text messaging; Oliver Chan Siu-kuen’s Still Human, in which a paralysed and depressed middle-aged man meets a Filipino domestic helper with a dream; and An Elephant Sitting Still, young Chinese director Hu Bo’s first and final feature film, that tells an arresting, lugubrious tale of nihilistic rage.
