The Cassini spacecraft, most noted for its remarkable 13-year tour of Saturn, plunged into the gas giant’s atmosphere and was burnt up on 15 September 2017. As astrologists waved goodbye to Cassini, new discoveries were made as they got the closest ever look at Saturn’s swirling cloud tops from inside its rings.

Goodbye Cassini: Hello Saturn follows the team of scientists behind the unprecedented large-scale research project, as they prepare for the dramatic descent of their spacecraft.

Please note that the English documentary will be supplemented with Chinese subtitles. Admission is free on a first come, first served basis.
