Grass by Second Hand Dance Inspires Kids To Explore

Why We Recommend it

Second Hand Dance’s Grass will inspire your kids to explore the ground and look closely at the world around them through dance, puppetry and projection.

Description

UK-based dance company Second Hand Dance is bringing their children’s show Grass to Hong Kong this December. The show will inspire your kids to look down closely and discover a brand new dimension. Featuring dancers who explore the ground and all its wriggly inhabitants, the quirky dance show is performed on freshly-cut turf and weaves together dance, puppetry and projection to inspire children to look closely at the world around them.

Grass enjoyed nationwide tours of the United Kingdom and participated in various children arts festivals including Kew Science Festival in 2019, Dublin Theatre Festival in 2018 and Edinburgh International Children’s Festival in 2017.

Second Hand Dance creates thought-provoking, joyful and highly visual dance performances by connecting dancers, artists and the public. Created for family and adult spectators, the work is often socially engaged, participatory and designed to encourage personal reflection among its audiences.
