Description

In The Great Adventures of Pineapple Sea, seven pieces of fruit are unwilling to spend the rest of their lives in cans. They decide to escape from the factory, commencing their adventure into the unknown. The show features numerous beautifully crafted and painted puppets, videos, live music and special lighting effects.

Founded in 2005, Fantasy Puppet Theatre is a non-profit puppet show group which production stories centre on local issues such as the long-disappeared rural lives in the New Territories villages, the protection of local wild animals, and the poor living conditions in 1960s Hong Kong. Established by Chen Ying-ching and Yip Wai-bun who works in the children’s art education industry, the troupe is known for making multiple kinds of puppets including shadow puppets, marionettes, open-mouth puppets and etc.
