Great Scenery Along The Way: Street Scenes of 1970s Hong Kong
Why We Recommend it
This free photography exhibition, featuring nostalgic black-and-white street snapshots, offers a candid glimpse of Hong Kong Island in the 1970s.
Curated by The Public Records Office (PRO), Great Scenery Along The Way showcases photographs taken at bus stops in the Central and Western district, Wan Chai and Eastern district.
The photos make up an interesting picture of people’s daily life, buildings and streetscapes in Hong Kong more than forty years ago.
The exhibition can be visited at the Hong Kong Public Records Building’s Exhibition Hall until November 30.
Additionally, Great Scenery Along The Way is also on show at the Sha Tin Public Library from 2 to 29 September and at the Hong Kong Central Library from 19 to 24 October.
