Madam I’m Adam: Art-Making and Repetition Reimagined

Why We Recommend it
HART Haus and artist collective Gloria Awareness will hold an upcoming group exhibition Madam I’m Adam, featuring works by six young artists.
Description
HART Haus and artist collective Gloria Awareness will stage Madam I’m Adam, highlighting works by six young artists — Amy Tong, Chan Ka-kiu, Dony Cheng, Lau Hiu-tung, Tiger Wong and Wu Jiaru. Through different mediums like painting, moving image and sound installations, the show investigates the intertwining of technology and the body, necessity and contingency.
In the show, visual artist Amy Tong traces affect and memory through feminist archival practices engaging with migration and personal history. Chan Ka Kiu blurs humour, desire and digital intimacy through video and multimedia. Dony Cheng translates sensory alienation into reflections on urban landscapes and perception. Together, the works reveal an ever-evolving process where repetition and change unfold within a shifting technological landscape.
On 27 November, there will be an opening ceremony starting at 19:00.
