[CANCELLED] HKIFF Celebrates Italian Film Giant Federico Fellini in Fellini 100

Why We Recommend it

The Hong Kong International Film Festival celebrates the legacy of Italian filmmaker Federico Fellini with film screenings, an exhibition and a special concert.

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Italian film maestro Federico Fellini, the Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF) will screen some of his most iconic films in this year’s special programme Fellini 100.

In addition to film screenings, HKIFF will also organise an exhibition that showcases rare behind-the-scenes photos, film stills, posters, and Fellini’s hand-drawn sketches. To top it off, a concert featuring film scores composed by Nino Rota for Fellini will be held under the baton of Italian musician and conductor Lorenzo Antonio Iosco.

Further details about Fellini 100 will be announced on July 28 by the HKIFF.

(UPDATE on 24th July 2020: The HKIFFS has cancelled HKIFF44 due to the recent increase in local COVID-19 cases.)
