Hong Kong Artist Shirley Tse Returns Home with Acclaimed Exhibition

Why We Recommend it
Los Angeles-based Hong Kong Artist Shirley Tse’s acclaimed 2019 exhibition at the 58th Venice Biennale will be showcased in Hong Kong with new configurations of the artist’s installations.
Description
Los Angeles-based Hong Kong artist Shirley Tse has always been fascinated by the intricate relationships between physical, metaphorical and literal objects. After a successful showcase last year in the 58th Venice Biennale, M+ museum and the Hong Kong Arts Development Council have joined hands to bring Tse’s exhibition back home with new renditions of her works.
At the heart of this exhibition is Tse’s meditation on the relationship between individuals and space, a concept that Tse hopes will encourage viewers to reflect on human agency and to recognise what is at stake at this moment in the world.
The opening of the exhibition will be conducted online on M+’s Facebook page and official website.
(UPDATE: The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority announced on 14th July 2020 that the M+ Pavilion will be closed until 28th July 2020)
