The Hong Kong Arts Festival 2018: Performances Across Genres

Why We Recommend it

Featuring over 1,700 international and local artists in 130 performances and over 300 complementary outreach and education activities, the 2018 Hong Kong Arts Festival boasts an impressive and diverse program.

Description

Founded in 1972, the Hong Kong Arts Festival (HKAF) is Asia’s longest-running festival of its kind. The month-long event showcases the work of top international ensembles and artists, as well as local and rising talents, in venues throughout Hong Kong.

The festival encompasses all genres of the performing arts, from Chinese opera to jazz, and circus to ballet.

This year’s theme, “what’s real to me”, celebrates the realities created and communicated through performing arts.
