Hong Kong Lesbian and Gay Film Festival 2017
Why We Recommend it
The longest standing lesbian and gay film festival in Asia is back with a versatile programme of quality LGTB feature- and short films from all over the world.
Opening with two lauded and newly released French movies 120 Bears Per Minute and Kiss Me! (Embrasse-Moi!), The Hong Kong Lesbian and Gay Festival (HKLGFF) will showcase 24 feature films and six special short film programmes centred around different gender identities and themes.
The eclectic programme includes movies and documentaries from across continents, such as Close-Knit (Japan, 2017), A Womb of Their Own (USA, 2016), Center Of My World (Germany/Austria, 2016) and Driver (Thailand, 2017).
In addition to movie screenings, the festival plays host to opening- and closing parties, seminars and university tours.
