Hong Kong Stories 1960s: Original Vintage Prints by Late Photographer Yau Leung

Why We Recommend it

Displaying familiar and nostalgic scenes of a bygone era, Yau Leung’s photography documents a rapidly changing Hong Kong from the 1960s to the year of the handover.

This solo exhibition showcases vintage gelatin silver prints by the late photographer Yau Leung (1941-1997), and marks the 20th anniversary of his death.

Yau’s work serves as an integral part of the visual and cultural memory of Hong Kong. This is the first exhibition since his death that solely showcases prints that were hand-printed by the artist himself.
