Why We Recommend it

Hong Kong Week features a series of talks on Hong Kong politics, literature, cinema and more in this week long symposium that is open to the public.

Description

Organised by poet and academic Tammy Ho, Hong Kong week will feature speakers covering a range of curious and important subjects pertaining to the city’s cultural life.

The free event includes the screenings of In the Mood For Love and Cantonese Pygmalion, both of which will be followed by lectures.

It also marks the launch of Cultural Conflict in Hong Kong: Angles on a Coherent Imaginary, a book examining Hong Kong’s socio-cultural plurality.
