Why We Recommend it

Description
Artist Huang Yulong is bringing 20 giant sculptures to Hong Kong’s harbourfront at the Hong Kong Observation Wheel and AIA Vitality Park. Meausuring more than three metres tall each, these hoodie-clad figures exude a sense of optimism while exploring themes of belonging and urban life. As part of Art Month, this public show called UPWARD is a nod to street culture and rugby, the latter paying homage to the Hong Kong Sevens which will take place in late March.
Presented by Ora-Ora, the exhibition runs from 12 to 20 March and then from 24 to 31 March. Following his successful debut in 2024, Huang will also present sculptures at Ora-Ora at Art Basel Hong Kong 2025.
