In support of International Museum Day, 42 museums in Hong Kong will be offering online visits, activities and resources, along with free admission at some venues that are partially open.
Description
In support of International Museum Day, over 40 cultural institutions in Hong Kong will be enriching their online platforms to offer new ways for the city to “visit” and experience museums and cultural venues amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
The 42 participating local cultural institutions include the 18 Leisure and Cultural Services museums and venues such as the Hong Kong Museum of Art and the Hong Kong Science Museum, as well as the Asia Society Hong Kong Center, the Hong Kong Maritime Museum, the Liang Yi Museum, the M+ Pavilion, the Sun Museum and many more. In light of the Covid-19 situation, all participating institutions will be offering online activities and resources such as pamphlets, audio guides and multimedia programmes for those interested to discover and enjoy at home.
