Sin Sin Fine Art presents It’s About Time, a duo exhibition by Indonesian contemporary artists Bob Yudhita Agung and EddiE haRA. Though this exhibition, curator Sin Sin Man hopes to remind viewers to think carefully before returning to “normal” life.
Strongly influenced by urban and pop cultures, both Bob Yudhita Agung and EddiE haRa are known for their playful approach to social and cultural commentary. A selection of works by both artists from 2005 to recent years will be shown at the exhibition.
Bob Yudhita Agung also known as Bob Sick, adopts a distinctive style of mixed media painting. Strongly influenced by Jean-Michel Basquiat, music and tattoo art, Yudhita Agung creates bright, arresting works that express social awareness and are packed motifs and symbolism.
Basel, Switzerland-based EddiE haRa crafts works that are colourful and layered, characterised by the quality of urban murals. His art blends together children’s mischievous fantasies and socio-political commentary, which are delivered with a tongue-in-cheek sense of humour.
