Japanese Cuisine and Ceramics at the Fringe Vault

Why We Recommend it
Serving gourmet delicacies at the Fringe Vault, a selection of handmade tableware is presented in seasonal themes by contemporary Japanese ceramists.
Description
With refined and considered aesthetics close to the heart of the Japanese, it has long been their tradition to carefully select tableware that matches the moods and seasons of meals. Since February, Fringe Vault has brought Japanese ceramics to introduce the culture that conjoins seasonal cuisine with ceramic art.
Each season, different artists from different parts of Japan will showcase their works. Summer will see the works of Masahiro Wadayama, from Osaka, and Chiho Itoh from Nagoya, while Autumn will see ceramics from Tajim’s Tetsuya Osawa and Kasama’s Keicondo. Winter will present a number of works from Takeshi Adachi, from Yokosuka and Mueaki Iwashita from Mashiko.
