Monthly Saturday Film Screenings at JCCAC

Why We Recommend it
Experience JCCAC’s monthly Saturday film screening series exploring life through a selection of six contemporary films.
Description
Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC)’s monthly Saturday Film series returns with a new thematic focus: life. In collaboration with MOViE MOViE, the programme presents six distinctive contemporary films — social thriller Parasite, animation Robot Dreams, family drama The Farewell, black comedy The Weasel’s Tale, psychological drama Swallow and horror film Greta. Each screening invites audiences to explore profound human emotions and social dynamics, from the ironies of class and family bonds to quiet meditations on loneliness, self-control and desire.
Through nuanced cinematic language and narrative craft, the films depict topics such as power structures, ethical dilemmas and psychological boundaries. They invite viewers into the spaces between external reality and inner experience – prompting reflection on individual struggles and transformations within social and familial contexts.
Stay tuned for updates on the next screening (The Weasel’s Tale) on 25 April, and be sure to pre-register early once booking opens to secure your spot.
