Journey into Sacred Geometry: New Works by Hong Kong-based Canadian Artist Peter Yuill

Why We Recommend it

Painter Peter Yuill creates new monumental ink works that address the absurdity of existence by playing with geometric forms and mythical symbolism.

Description

Moving away from the cityscapes for which he is known, Yuill creates a series of monumental works that articulate the artist’s philosophical and aesthetic journey into sacred geometry and nature mythology.

Central to his compositions are pure, intricately drawn circular forms that resonate with an almost perfect sense of 3-dimensionality: a sense of volume, space, depth and movement created from precisely plotted yet dynamically resonant overlapping lines.
