Echoes of Nature: Where Humanity Meets the Natural World

Why We Recommend it
Karin Weber’s Echoes of Nature showcases compelling new works by artists Tang Ying-chi, Kensa Hung and Chonticha Kaiaroonsuth, exploring humanity’s bond with the natural world through interpretations of landscapes, flora and fauna.
Description
Echoes of Nature navigates the delicate relationship between humans and the natural world. The group show presents a diverse array of artworks interpreting landscapes, flora and fauna through distinct yet interconnected artistic languages. The exhibition’s pieces range from Tang Ying-chi’s emotionally healing landscapes inspired by Chinese traditions, to Kensa Hung’s surreal animal portraits awash in unsettling colours, to Chonticha Kaiaroonsuth’s meditative paintings that capture nature’s subtle textures and light. Together, the works inspire reflection and connection, inviting viewers to reconnect with our environment through the unique visions of the three artists.
Tang is an arts practitioner who combines roles as artist, educator, curator and writer. Her latest series, The Places, seeks emotional healing through nature’s vastness and the human spirit. Hung’s multidisciplinary background in painting, calligraphy and design informs his surreal imagery, using bright colours to evoke unease while exploring themes of existence, survival and reality’s absurdity. Meanwhile, Kaiaroonsuth draws from her Chinese and Thai heritage to create reflective paintings that integrate textures and patterns found in nature, evoking the natural world’s beauty through a subtle interplay of light and shadow.
